Lindsey Hinkel

After nearly a decade of professional marketing and technical writing, Lindsey decided to turn her passion for fiction, and especially romance, into a career in 2021. She expanded her skillset with certification and coursework in line editing, copyediting, and proofreading from Edit Republic and the Editorial Freelancers Association. She loves working with indie authors to help bring their stories to life.

In addition to editing for indie authors, Lindsey still does some copywriting for corporate clients, including TruStage (formerly CUNA Mutual Group).

Lindsey lives in Madison, WI with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and a cat. When she’s not editing or writing, she can be found reading in her favorite chair, experimenting in the kitchen, or playing her latest video game obsession.
