Copyediting is where we go over your manuscript with a fine-toothed comb and ensure your spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax are on point. This is where we make sure the grammar rules are all followed—or, if you choose to break a rule, this is where we document which rules are being broken and why to ensure they are broken consistently.

Proofreading
Proofreading is the final check. We catch typos, make sure your font and formatting are consistent—all the fiddly things at the end.
